Sustainability

Reuse,
I love reworking existing materials into my work; log slices, driftwood, bowls, plant pots, anything I can get my hands on! The idea is that by giving these materials a second life as beautiful pieces of home decor I can save them from becoming waste, and also create completely one of a kind pieces.

Reduce
To make an effort to lower the carbon footprint of my materials, the macrame cotton cord I use in my work is created and sourced in the UK!

and Recycle..

When sending off your packages to you your order will come wrapped in 100% recycled tissue, in a recyclable cardboard box, sealed with plastic free paper tape.
If your order is a gift, it will be wrapped in hand printed recycled tissue paper, and tied with compostable twine.

but Realistically..
Currently I'm making an effort to reduce the impact of my business on the planet, but there's always more work to do. Some of my suppliers still use plastic in their packaging, some of my orders must be packed with plastic if there's no alternative to keep it safe. I always want to be honest about where I am with my efforts, and I'm always open to learning new ways to make my business as eco friendly as possible!
Your packaging may contain the following:
Cardboard Outer Box: Recyclable
Recycled Tissue Paper: Recycled & Recyclable
Paper 'Bubble Wrap': Recyclable
Paper Based Packing Tape: Recyclable - Leave on your box to recycle
Brown Wrapping Paper: Recyclable
Printed Postage Label: Recycled & Recyclable (uses water based adhesive) - Leave on your box
Cotton Twine/Cord: Compostable, include in your food waste bin
Re-used Plastic Packagaing: If there is any plastic in your parcel it will be second hand plastic from material deliveries to my studio. None of it is new and I would love for you to either re-use it, pass it back to me or pass it on to anyone that will continue to use it!
